short summary

Jesse's suicide wouldn't register in Shawn's mind, no many how many times the detectives tried to convince him of it. Shawn knew his brother. He knew Jesse didn't kill himself—he was murdered. Shawn would prove it and kill whoever ended his brother's life.

Keep The Rain is contemporary fantasy that takes place in the mid 2000s in the US, with a diverse queer cast & a lot of magical worldbuilding. It's currently still in the 'outlining' stage & i'm just starting to finish the worldbuidling for it. It features different themes such as found family, death & the morality of judicial killings, abuse of power, an oppressive magical system, compulsory heterosexuality, anger, fighting against one's predispostion, and more. The actual story will be told in two or three books, but I will write extra content for them as I'm jotting down the main story.

The name of this book is undecided & instead named after keep the rain by searows. I'm also planning for the series of books to have different plots, so the main subject of each book will be solved within that book instead of having it drag onto another book, if you get my gist.
